Day 10. Phoenix 28.2.24

A quiet day today to let our bodies recover from mountain climbing. My leg muscles are very sore from the climb but we managed a 3km wander around the streets. We did a lot of 'plotting and scheming ' this morning and we have hired a car and head off on an adventure south tomorrow for a few days.

Day 9 Phoenix 27.2.24

Another fun day today. Our first ever segway ride.

In the afternoon we decided to go to the zoo. 

The baboon wasn't interested in coming anywhere near us so we walked away.  I glanced back to see this most beautiful sight.  The baboon came over to see the new born baby.

Our legs were very tired from yesterdays mammoth mountain climb we decided to miss the last bit of the zoo.

We had intentions of climbing up to the 'hole in the rock' but our muscles were screaming out no more climbing so we sat and watched a few people precariously wandering around on the top before heading home.

Roz cooked a beautiful pork and vegetable stew for dinner.
