Day 4. Santa Monica 22.2.24

 We decided to have a find something 'fun' to do day. Walked 4.3kms downtown on a different route and headed a little north on the walking track.

We found squirrel's running around everywhere in Palisades Park. They're a pest as they are burrowing in the to the walls of the cliff.

Back to the pier as we decided our fun thing to do is to hire a bike and go for a ride.

We hired a couple of ebikes and headed north towards Malibu.

Then we turned around and headed south to Venice Beach.

After riding 27kms it was lunchtime. Then to do another fun thing...ride a horse 🎠 

Headed home via Tongva Park. There are so many people sleeping in the streets and in particular on the park benches and beach.

Home for someone to 😴 while I blog 🤷‍♀️

Got tired of listening to the 😴  so went for a short walk to have a look at some artwork work I spotted earlier.

Today we walked 8.4kms and rode 27.1kms. The temperature was beautiful in the sun with a top of 19°. Last night it got down to 10°

We heard on the radio tonight that it has been the wettest February in Los Angeles since 1877!
