Last night there was a planned power outage. The motel owners gave us a couple of candles to use.
Today we're doing a guided bus tour around Los Angeles. So a little bit of downtown LA, Beverley Hills, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive...
So expect LOTS of photos
We left at 8am and returned home at 7pm. We have had an excellent day and are both pooped.
Our first stop of the tour was at the Santa Monica Pier. As we'd been here a few times we decided to walk on the beach instead.
2nd stop was at Venice Beach, full of street vendors, art, ball games and muscle 💪 men.
Our 3rd stop was in Beverly Hills.
Bvlgari had very sparkly jewellery.

Back on the bus heading back to Santa Monica we saw lots of places where famous people hang out and some of the comedy clubs where big name comedians got their start.

Our next stop was at the Griffith Observatory. If we ever come back to LA I'd love to spend a whole day here.
Time to get back on the bus again and to the Hollywood stars.

Back in Santa Monica just in time to check out the plaza and watch the sunset from the roof top.
The temperature was perfect for exploring, 11-24°. We walked 12 kms today. Tomorrow we move on to Phoenix.
