This morning we headed off to Thombstone, a town in south east Arizona known for its wild west history particularly the notorious gunfight at the O.K Corral.
We shared an omelette for breakfast at this cafe. The atmosphere and patrons were very Western cowboyish.

Finally we got to the gun fight.

'The good guys'
We checked out a few little museums after the gunfight. Starting with photography.
We went to a theatre and watched the history of Thombstone on film and a diorama. No photos were allowed but they didn't say that until after I had taken the photo above.
Newspaper museum. We were given a newspaper each.

City Park.
We had an excellent time exploring Thombstone. After some horrendous traffic adding over an hour to travel time we arrived back at Roz and Byron's before sunset. Byron's family were visiting and we enjoyed a very social evening chatting, drinking and eating.
