Noisy neighbours banging their doors had us awake at 6am and on the road just after 7. We had tickets for the Titan Missile Museum to view the underground silo. As we were off so early we had time to have a relaxing coffee at Starbucks not far from the site.
Mountain viewsRe entry vehicle transporter.
We had also booked tickets to wander around Biosphere 2, about an hours drive away. A couple more snow pics because I can 🤷♀️
The tall building was the human habitat.
Inside the human habitat.
Landscape Observatory
The lung.
Mark looking like a soldier because I said stand still while I take a pano.
Coastal fog desert.
A little Aussie Wattle.
Ocean with coral and waves.
Rainforest.
Final pick from the Biosphere. Time to jump back into the guinea pig and head back to Benson.
3 wheeled cars.
Indian motorbikes.
Mark chose a Mexican restaurant for dinner in Benson. I devoured my 3 tacos in record time and Mark wasn't far behind with his enchiladas. All we had eaten was a mini bacon and egg roll for breakfast and shared a muesli bar for lunch.
Today we drove 188miles or just over 300kms. The temperature was 2° when we woke up and got up to 21°
