Day 17 Flagstaff 6.3.24

We needed to get some paperwork sorted for the Egypt part of this adventure so we headed back to the visitor centre.

That's where we are heading today, the San Francisco peaks. It will be the first time I have ever been to the snow so expect LOTS of photos and videos. 

Driving through forests. 

We need some substance after walking up and down the hill. Our lunch view.

We sat around the fire pit to eat a simple but delicious and warming burger before hopping on the scenic gondola.

The gondola ride was 3.7km long and we gained 582m.

On our drive up I spotted a couple of spots we could stop at on the way home for a play. 

It was beautiful wandering through the forest.

After that bit of fun (for me) my finger tips were a bit chilly so we stopped off for our first coffee of the day at 3pm.

Ending up having another coffee at McDonalds. Some Australian stores can take note of this beautifully clean and friendly service.

2° as we prepare for bed. Glad our room has a heater.
