The breakfast room had a waffle machine so I had to test it out. It made delicious small waffles. The temperature was 7°, much more pleasant.
7.54am as we headed to breakfast the sky looks ominous. Lots of nasty weather around.

The turn off to Bryce Canyon. I'm so disappointed we're not going there. Zion & Bryce we're the 2 places to visit at the top of my list. Oh well, we will just have to come back here again 😁
We thought of G&W today as we followed a majestic van for quite a few miles.
We stopped in a little town called Beaver for a coffee fix. It was 3° and windy.
A cute little egg and bacon muffin fell on our tray 🤷♀️. The muffin was more of a pancake dough than an English muffin.
At first I thought this was a lake in the distance. Poor cows in the paddocks must be cold.

We did have patches of blue sky and sunshine.
We thought we might stay in Fillmore for the night as Marks back was a bit sore. Unfortunately he decided that the accommodation was not up to standard so we enjoyed a walk around the town and pushed on.
Court House
This was the best choice of hotels in Fillmore and didn't look appealing.
Museum wasn't open so I peeked through the window.
We took a walk around the block checking out houses and views.

We decided to spend the night at the Scipio Hotel. We have a lovely room with gorgeous views of the mountains. It had warmed up to 9° when we arrived just after 1pm.
We spent a couple of hours down time this afternoon. Mark discovered a free guest laundry, so while I blogged I caught up on the washing at the same time.
Mark has organised tickets to a live Dry Bar Comedy TV recording in Provo, near Salt Lake City. He watches this all the time at home. There's no swearing or alcohol allowed which appeals to us. Our accommodation is booked not far from the studio so we're set for tomorrow.
Walked across the road to look at the spectacular scenery. I still haven't had enough snow yet. It has warmed up to 11° out of the breeze it's quite pleasant.
6.30pm and the temperature is dropping (8.3°) and the clouds are darkening.
Today we travelled 171 miles/275 kms and walked 5kms.
