Day 25. Hurricane 14.3.24

Hard to get up in the mornings when it's  only 3° and sunrise is at 7.44am (sunsets at 7.40pm)

We were 5 minutes later today than yesterday and the queue to get on the canyon bus was quite long. We didn't make the first small bus but we got on a bendy bus that held 94 passengers.

Today we are doing the Court of the Patriarchs trail.

This pano was achieved by stitching 10 photos together, it's not perfect but I'm happy with the result.

We came across this tour on our way back. 

Our trail was also a horse trail. It was lots of soft sand, a bit of mud, a creek crossing and some rocks. It was a loop in the middle of nowhere, on our own and I wasn't comfortable so we turned around.

We saw a few deer today but couldn't get a photo.

Not so many photos today, the drive was just as pretty as yesterday. 

We found a store just outside the park that was a combination of pizza/subway/icecream/coffee so lunch was devoured.

Home for a rest and blogging before we walk down to the supermarket to find something for dinner. The wind was really cold and gusting at 30 -50km hour. Today's top temp was 12° We walked 10kms. 

Unfortunately Bryce Canyon has had a heap of snow and are expecting more over the next couple of days.  This was to be our next destination. The guinea pig is not suitable for snow/ice so we are rethinking our plans.
