We stopped in Kearney for a coffee and to book 2 nights accommodation in Lincoln which is the capital of Nebraska. We have crossed the Platte River a few times this week.
Fun fact: last night we stayed in Curtis which is the surname of our 4 grandsons on the Goldcoast. Lincoln is the name of 1 of those grandsons 😁

There was a constant stream of trucks today. They are very courteous and don't sit on your tail. They just happily overtake slower cars.
