Day 38. Lincoln, Nebraska. 27.3.24

-4° this morning. Didn't seem too bad after the previous few days. Departed Curtis just after 9am. 

We stopped in Kearney for a coffee and to book 2 nights accommodation in Lincoln which is the capital of Nebraska. We have crossed the Platte River a few times this week.

Fun fact: last night we stayed in Curtis which is the surname of our 4 grandsons on the Goldcoast. Lincoln is the name of 1 of those grandsons 😁

There was a constant stream of trucks today. They are very courteous and don't sit on your tail. They just happily overtake slower cars.

We are staying at the Candlewood suites for 2 nights. The weather is a much more pleasant +3°
