Day 48. NYC. 6.4.24

This morning I explored solo. Mark was unwell all night with a tummy bug. I jumped on the bus and headed to Central Park. 









The fountain that the TV show Friends is based on. The show was actually filmed in LA at a studio. 











The noise coming out of these grates from the subway was quite loud.


I visited the Museum of NYC. It was interesting to read the history from the Native American side.














This was a beautiful 'curtain of fairy lights'. No matter where I viewed it from it had a star pattern. 
Back to Central Park. 








The Magnolia trees were magnificent.










When I got back to the Hotel Mark was feeling better so we had coffee then jumped on the bus and did a complete circuit around Uptown,  including Central Park, without getting off as it was the last trip for the day.
Advertising billboards are huge in Times Square. 



Today's temperatures were 6-12°.

I walked 6kms on my own today.
