After a reasonable nights sleep and breakfast we were on the bus at 7.30 ready for our first adventure.
Bus dropped us off at the top of Horseshoe Fall, just behind where the water flows over.

Fortunately for us, the Maid of the Mist boat trip started early this season and we got to take the ride into the misty waterfalls.

We caught an elevator, 4 floors, to the bottom of the observation tower to catch the boat.

Into the Mist of Horseshoe Falls. It was very wet, very strong wind, very cold and VERY GOOD FUN.

Climbed part way up the side of the American Falls to see the wall of water coming over the top.
The red dot is where we climbed up to.
Just one more shot before we jump on the bus and head back to NYC.
We stopped at a shop outlet centre but being the great shoppers we are we bought coffee and a souvlaki for lunch. We have no room for souvenirs so I'm being very selective.
The temperature got up to 25°
My pedometer says we walked almost 8 kms today.
