Easy day today. My body's telling to rest ð
Light rain on and off all day. Went for a couple of short walks close to home. Mainly just shops and mosques. We are doing a tour which includes a mosque and Bazaar so we skipped that today.
The hotel has given us a fan to 'cool' our room. For some reason the cooling system is not available yet only the heating. The fan says our room is 25°
Tonight we will have dinner with our Gallipoli guide and group at the Hamdi Restaurant. I'll report back later ðĪŠ
We met up with our Turkish guide and English historian and the other 20 odd people in our group. We all headed off to the bus to go to the otherside of town for a group dinner with the other 2 groups.
Unfortunately a few won't make the Gallipoli Tour due to the flooding in Dubai. Others didn't arrive until late this afternoon and some didn't have there luggage arrive all due to re-routing around Dubai. Apparently they had their annual rainfall in 1 day.
The food was plentiful and delicious. The company loud and friendly. We had views over the Golden Horn, an inlet for the Bosphorus River and of the Galata Bridge.
The temperature range today was 13-15°
Today we've walked 7kms.
