We have another tour booked for this afternoon, so we are having an easy morning. Went out to get a bottle of milk and down to our lobby for a coffee at Starbucks.
Tried to check out the bar on the penthouse level but it was closed.
This afternoon we visited the National Museum of Qatar. It cost 100 Qatari Riyal for us both to enter =$41 Australian. It is a very big museum. We spent a good 2 hrs there and that felt a bit rushed. Lots of photos again.
The gift shop roof is designed like a cave.
After the museum we went to the Souq Waqif, a traditional market place for trading clothing, perfume, hand crafts, Spices and eateries. The original building dates back to the late 1800s. It was damaged by fire and rebuilt as close to possible as the original.

Our next stop was to visit the new town of Lusail. This town was built in the last 7 years. Before that it was all desert.

Our final stop of the tour was at the hugest, cleanest mall I've seen.

We were treated to a beautiful musical fountain display.
We got chauffered around a just a small part of the mall, a 10 min drive.
Another great tour over. Tomorrow, our final full day here, we'll do our own thing. We're slowly getting better. Basically just coughing a little now.

We walked 5kms according to my step counter.
