Day 30. Denver, Colorado 19.3.24

Our room last night.

On the road to Denver.

Filled in a couple of hours at the Botanical Gardens. 

Wish time permitted us to stay longer but we had an afternoon bus tour booked.

Pick up spot for our tour was outside Union Station. 

About 30 rows up.

About 60 rows up.

What a view.

Our next stop was at the Evergreen Lake.

Rest room. 

We followed the path part way around the frozen lake.

On the road again. Our tour itinerary was changed today because of the huge amount of snowfall last weekend making some of the roads unsafe.

Our last stop was at Lookout Mountain. 

This dog was having a great time jumping in the snow and trying to fetch my snowballs.

The snow was very thick in places. 

All aboard for the journey back to Union Station. It was a small group of 13 tourists. 

After Buffalo/chicken burgers for dinner near the train station we took on the traffic chaos and headed for our hotel.

Today we travelled 70 miles/112 kms and walked 7kms.

Our bus tour was about 100kms. 

So far our trip looks a bit like this

We have about 3 weeks left to get to New York.
